Senior Creative & Media Marketing Manager
ROLE Summary
As the Senior Creative & Media Marketing Manager for a cluster, you will support the development and implementation of innovative and data-driven marketing campaigns and activations that drive consumer demand for your cluster, to achieve revenue targets and enhance the guest experience for your cluster, whilst maximizing marketing ROI.
Reporting into the GTM Director, you will take ownership over consumer marketing for your Bangkok attractions, including campaign management, performance marketing, social media & PR. Your role will be supported regionally be SEO/GEO, Consumer Proposition and Indirect Sales teams.
Global Marketing will become the CoE team, providing strategic direction, specialist expertise and best practice frameworks to support the Go to Market teams and enhance execution within the region and clusters.
You will work closely with other specialist teams within the Growth function, including Global Brand and Global Insights and Strategy; and outside of the function, including Finance, People and Merlin Magic Making (the innovation arm of Merlin).
The key to success will be working together as a high performing and collaborative team within this matrix to deliver the primary revenue for your cluster and contribute to your region’s annual targets.
This role requires a “can-do” attitude, a good understanding of both digital and traditional marketing, commercial focus and drive for results.
Key Accountabilities
Campaign Planning & Activation/Execution. Play a key role in the planning and development of compelling integrated marketing campaigns for your cluster that are aligned to the marketing strategy and annual plan. Deliver experiences that engage and inspire the target audiences and deliver on customer, brand and commercial objectives – often translating global / regional strategies into localised plans.
Lead in the execution of marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, social media, traditional media, and experiential marketing working closely with specialist teams. Coordinate with internal teams to ensure campaigns are implemented on time and within budget. Oversee and support in the creation of marketing collateral and assets.
Cluster Marketing. Work with peers and colleagues to support your Marketing Director and cluster operational leads by developing marketing plans that deliver our cluster objectives. Drive relevance and effectiveness by ensuring any global activity is adapted effectively to meet the needs of the local market. Use frameworks provided for regional teams to help achieve local marketing goals and build best practice.
Brand Management: Work closely with Brand team to align marketing with brand strategies & frameworks. Ensure consistent brand messaging and identity across all marketing activity.
Cross-Functional Collaboration. Deliver our marketing objectives by embracing matrix working and building partnerships across Merlin and with external agencies to ensure strategies are integrated across all customer touchpoints.
Customer Insights & Analytics: Put target customers at the heart of marketing plans, ensuring a good understanding of customer behaviour, market trends, and the competitive landscape.
Measurements & Budgets: Provide regular reporting and insight to leadership, making data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement.
